The cocktail was created at the private Bermuda Yatch Club that was established in 1844. In 1845, Prince Albert became a patron, and the club was permitted to add ‘Royal’ to its name.
- 2 oz Mount Gay white rum
- 1/2 oz Cointreau
- 1 oz Lime juice
- 1/4 oz Falernum syrup
1. Fill a mixing glass with ice.
2. Pour in all the ingredients
4. Strain into a martini glass.
5. Garnish with a sprig of mint.
